The dish is Persian type of kebab and it contains unique marinade. It is grilled perfectly with chicken breasts, or you can use whole pieces of chicken, grilled or baked.
Joojeh Kebab

Ingredients:
- Boneless, skinless, chicken breasts (cut into 1 inch chunks) - 1
- Olive oil + 1 tablespoon warm water - 1/2 cup
- Large yellow onion (grated) - 1
- Saffron - 10 strands
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Pepper - 1 teaspoon
- Crushed red pepper - 1/8 teaspoon
Instructions:
• Rinse the chicken with cold water and then dry it.
• Cut into 1 inch chunks.
• Mix the other remaining ingredients together make a marinade.
• After that soak the chicken breast pieces in marinade for 24 hours prior to cooking in the refrigerator.
• Preheat grill to medium high or oven to 350 degrees (F).
• Place chicken cubes on skewers and cook until chicken reaches at least 165(F), about 15-20 minutes on the grill or 20-30 minutes in the oven.
• Serve over basmati rice with grilled vegetables.
